Daytime in Napa calls for vineyards, leisurely bike rides and shopping. This means packing casual and comfortably chic ensembles. We’re loving the MILLY Racerback Romper - a fun, summery print and super comfy for a day of activities.
As nighttime approaches, it’s time to up the glam-factor. Napa is home to some of the best restaurants in the nation, so bring out the big guns in the style department. It’s all about options - make sure you pack a skirt in a fabulous print like the MILLY Winter Orchard 3/4 Skirt that you can dress up or down, as well as a standout piece like the MILLY Bicolor Gown for that special night.
WHAT TO DO:
Vineyard-hopping of course! Napa Valley is all about the wine. Some of our favorites are Domaine Chandon (a must for bubbles), Chappellet for incredible views and Cabernets, and Cakebread for a more educational tasting experience.
It’s not long until the summer’s over, so check out the rest of the MILLY Road Trip Series for more last-minute getaway inspiration!
The MILLY Road Trip Series is headed to the North Fork of Long Island this week, for a relaxed seaside getaway. We particularly love the towns of Mattituck and Greenport…read on for some more insider info!
The North Fork is known for its countless gorgeous vineyards. We like Croteaux Vineyards – located in the town of Southold on the fork, its adorable atmosphere will have you feeling like you’re at a vineyard in Southern France.
Do some cleansing Yoga
Take a beat and release some tension with a relaxing and strengthening yoga session. We recommend The Giving Room (they also have a juice bar!) or Yoga Shala. Both places have an calming class environment, perfect for an early morning soul-cleanse.
The MILLY Road Trip Series continues, with tips on where to spend your coveted summer weekends! Next stop? Nantucket, Massachusetts.
It’s safe to say Nantucket is a must-see summer destination, however we would want to stay more than just a weekend (MILLY “3 month” Trip Series anyone?). The gorgeous beaches, the cobblestone streets, the distinct white shuttered houses. Check out our top picks below. Happy travels!
Finally, Nantucket’s amazing restaurant scene will need you dressed to impress. So don’t forget the MILLY Flare Dress, and your essential MILLY Astor Tote for your transition from seaside to tableside. (More on the food below.)
Just a short stroll from downtown, White Elephantis on the top of our hotel list. With gorgeous views overlooking the harbor, you’ll never want to leave!
Where to Eat/Drink
Our favorite lunch spot is Cru. This cool restaurant has a beautiful view of the straight wharf dock that you can enjoy while watching boats go by. And after, make sure you grab a cone at The Juice Bar - Nantucket’s famous ice cream store.
Want something more casual? Make sure to visit Black-Eyed Susan’s. It’s a fun spot for the whole family (and BYOB). And if you’re feeling up to it, head to The Chicken Box - a bustlin’ nighttime hot spot filled with drinks, dancing and live music every night. Everyone has a story about a night at The Chicken Box…
What To Do
Take a walk around the Brandt Point Light House. It’sa signature landmark of Nantucket being the second oldest in the country. It’s the perfect spot for beach picnics (and MAJOR Instagram-bait).
Want to find out more about Nantucket’s history? Be sure to visit the Whaling Museum, where the tale of Moby Dick comes alive. Insider tip: Be sure to check out the harbor from the observation deck!

Now that spring break is here, I’m dreaming about my favorite warm weather locations… One exotic hideaway that instantly comes to mind is a hidden gem on the Riviera Nayarit in Mexico - a little surf town called Sayulita (photos courtesy of Claudia Lebenthal, Style of Sport). Discovered in the late 1960s by wandering surfers, this off-the-beaten-path town is quickly becoming a popular spot for its stunning beaches, jungle terrain, snorkeling and fishing, and of course, its surfing.
The ultimate location for anyone looking to live on a surfboard for a few days, it features tame waves for beginners and surging ones for pros. Plus, if you’re down for an eclectic culture fix, you’ll love walking around the town scouting the different shops, filled with bohemian style jewelry, clothing, bags, and swimwear. P.S. You can’t go to Sayulita without heading to Pacha Mama - you’ll fall in love with the gypsy-inspired designs from the stunning Mignot sisters.
Insider info: make sure your trip to Sayulita overlaps with one of the town’s favorite events, the annual Punta Sayulita Classic. This weekend long contest hails some of the top athletes for long board and stand up paddle surfing…
