MILLY Road Trip Series: Nantucket
The MILLY Road Trip Series continues, with tips on where to spend your coveted summer weekends! Next stop? Nantucket, Massachusetts.
It’s safe to say Nantucket is a must-see summer destination, however we would want to stay more than just a weekend (MILLY “3 month” Trip Series anyone?). The gorgeous beaches, the cobblestone streets, the distinct white shuttered houses. Check out our top picks below. Happy travels!
What to Pack
Nantucket is an island - so that means beaches. Of course you’ll need bikinis and cover-ups galore. The MILLY Biarritz String Bikini paired with the MILLY Embellished V-Neck Tunic will give you the perfect beach babe look. Don’t forget the sunscreen!
For all the shopping and sight-seeing during the day, look cute and casual in the MILLY Maxi. We also recommend the MILLY Zebra Cuff Short paired with the MILLY Striped Sailor Tee - the contrasting patterns are super fun.
Finally, Nantucket’s amazing restaurant scene will need you dressed to impress. So don’t forget the MILLY Flare Dress, and your essential MILLY Astor Tote for your transition from seaside to tableside. (More on the food below.)

Where to Stay
Just a short stroll from downtown, White Elephant is on the top of our hotel list. With gorgeous views overlooking the harbor, you’ll never want to leave!
Where to Eat/Drink
Our favorite lunch spot is Cru. This cool restaurant has a beautiful view of the straight wharf dock that you can enjoy while watching boats go by. And after, make sure you grab a cone at The Juice Bar - Nantucket’s famous ice cream store.
Want something more casual? Make sure to visit Black-Eyed Susan’s. It’s a fun spot for the whole family (and BYOB). And if you’re feeling up to it, head to The Chicken Box - a bustlin’ nighttime hot spot filled with drinks, dancing and live music every night. Everyone has a story about a night at The Chicken Box…
What To Do
Take a walk around the Brandt Point Light House. It’sa signature landmark of Nantucket being the second oldest in the country. It’s the perfect spot for beach picnics (and MAJOR Instagram-bait).
Want to find out more about Nantucket’s history? Be sure to visit the Whaling Museum, where the tale of Moby Dick comes alive. Insider tip: Be sure to check out the harbor from the observation deck!
We hope you get to visit Nantucket this summer, it’s most definitely on our lists! Want more travel tips? Then make sure to check out our other MILLY Road Trip Series Posts, from Vail to Capri!
