On Monday, the MILLY Spring ‘15 Collection was revealed on the runway at Artbeam during New York Fashion Week.
Let’s take a closer look at the show…
Inspired by the bold conceptual art of Dan Graham and John Baldessari, the collection features luxurious, futuristic fabrics and cascading silhouettes. Grounded in black and white, the collection features kinetic bursts of saturated color. Cobalt, poppy, yellow and mint echo the palette favored by Baldessari.
The set design was a nod to artist Dan Graham, using two-way mirrors to create a provocative and immersive experience, reflecting the precise tailoring and refined draping throughout the collection.
Natacha was right on trend with a graphic print pencil skirt and crop top, mirroring the silhouettes and prints seen on the MILLY Spring ‘15 Runway. Check out her favorite looks from the show in the slideshow above!
Milly designer + founder Michelle Smith was inspired by the conceptual art of Dan Graham and John Bladessari when designing these prints - learn more about her inspiration behind the Kinetic collection now!
